“Por Calle Abajo” es un tema callejero, bailable, inspirado en las murgas panameñas que pude escuchar en persona durante mi primer viaje a ese país para el Panamá Jazz Fest del 2006. Eso iba a marcar la forma en la que toco y vivo el trombón desde entonces.

En este tema además celebro mi gran influencia por la salsa vieja cargada de moñas al estilo Willie Colon, Manny Oquendo, y La Perfecta.

Este sencillo es un primer paseo por muchas de las influencias que atraviesan mi música.

Agradecimiento muy especial a mis hermanos de Panamá Ricky Sanchéz,
Avenicio Nuñez, Ademir Berrocal, Felix Berrocal, Omar Díaz y Josse R Guerra. Los primeros en abrirme la puerta de este hermoso país. A ellos les dedico esta pieza.

“Por Calle Abajo” is a danceable street song, inspired by Panamanian murgas that I could listen in person during my first trip.
to that country for the 2006 Panama Jazz Fest. That was going to mark the way I play and live the trombone since then.

On this track I celebrate my great influence by the old Salsa loaded with moñas in the style of Willie Colon, Manny Oquendo, or La Perfecta.

This cut is a first walk through many of the influences that run through my music.
